One of the most rewarding parts of writing Tarnished Halos and Crooked Fences is the comments I have received from people after they have read it.  It's touching to know that I've entertained someone or helped them cope in some way.  Makes the 'ol heart feel humble.  I'd like to share some of their comments with you. 

I have been a friend of Dennis's for about 3 years now.  In the time that I have known him I have been enlightened by his humor and wit.  His book, Tarnished Halos and Crooked Fences, reflects the personality of one of the funniest men I have ever met.  It is an extremely entertaining book that will educate you and make you laugh all at the same time.  Not many people can do that!  Anyone who has any interest in the Deaf world or needs to laugh should buy it!  Laughing is exercise.
